European Golf Tournament Rolex Continues Cooperation For Another Ten Years

Rolex and the European Tour officially announced that they will extend the current long-term partnership for another ten years to 2022. Since 1997, Rolex has been an honorary sponsor of the ‘European Tour’ and a designated timepiece for the event, thereby encouraging the development, organization and promotion of golf events worldwide.

The extension of the cooperation period to ten years will further strengthen Rolex’s position as the most well-known sponsor of golf, including cooperation with the Ryder Cup. Expanding the partnership will deepen the long-standing relationship between the world’s leading watch-Rolex and the ‘European Tour’, thereby consolidating Rolex’s longest standing partner status in the Ryder Cup.

George O’Grady, Chief Executive Officer of the European Tour, said: ‘Rolex has unparalleled support for golf events. For many years, Rolex has been an important partner of the European Tour. Provide comprehensive support for global golf events, including ‘Senior Tour’, ‘Challenge Tour’, ‘Ryder Cup’ and ‘European Tour’, etc. Rolex has established a unique and close partnership with us. Both of us are eagerly looking forward to establishing a stage for golf players in the future, and jointly drawing out the blueprint for the development of the ‘European Tour’. ‘

Since 1967, Rolex has strongly supported golf tournaments and is committed to continuing its traditions and supporting the development of sports in the future. Rolex is currently assisting the European Tour with 46 events in 25 countries.

Rolex states: ‘Today, Rolex is one of the major golf sponsors and has established partnerships with many of the world’s most important and influential golf organizations, major professional tours, tournaments and players. Since 1997 ‘We have always strongly supported the’ European Tour ‘. This extended cooperation symbolizes our deep commitment to the future of golf, and also exemplifies the unremitting pursuit of excellence in golf and the tour.’

‘Ryder Cup’ 2014 European Captain Paul. Paul McGinley said: ‘When Rolex participates in a tournament, it will inject world-renowned excellence into it. I look forward to continuing my golf career with Rolex, and I hope to celebrate the European victory at Gleneagles next year.’

The two sides announced the good news at the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai, which is also the last stop of the 2013 European Tour. As the finale of the season, this tournament has attracted many top players from around the world to compete, and they will compete for a huge prize of $ 8 million.

Gold ─ Rolex Casting

The 18 ct yellow, white, and eternal rose gold used in Rolex watches has a unique luster, precisely because these high-purity alloys are carefully cast by Rolex foundries and then formed, processed and polished in Rolex’s workshops. The unique luster of 18 ct eternal rose gold is due to the addition of a little platinum.

Calibre 3155, top precision timepiece

The Day-Date watch uses a 3155 automatic mechanical movement developed entirely by Rolex. Like all Rolex movements, the 3155 movement has also received the Swiss Official Accreditation for Timepieces. This certification is specifically awarded to precision watches that have successfully passed the Swiss Precision Timepiece Testing Center (COSC) test. The exquisite design and high-quality production process of this movement make it unparalleled precision and reliability. The heart of the watch, the balance-swing component, uses Rolex’s patented blue Parachrom hairspring and is made of an alloy that is exclusively cast by Rolex. This hairspring is not affected by magnetic fields, and can still perform stably under temperature changes. The shock resistance is 10 times higher than that of traditional hairsprings.

Gold discount leather strap new

The strap of the new Day-Date watch combines the comfortable and precious crocodile leather with the new 18 ct gold crown buckle which is easy to use. This discount makes it easy to adjust the strap length.
